Astoria Palace Hotel - Palermo

The room we had included it's own balcony and a carpet. The view of the sea was pleasant. The private parking was in front of the hotel, great service...

Room were newly remodelled, high-class hotel. The rooms with balcony, twin beds and excelent view. Friendly staffs, gave a few recommendations. Nice location, industrial area, very close to the center of town, and a market, a lot of garbage on the streets. And a 15-minute walk from Palazzo dei Normanni. Good service, parking onsite.

This hotel was great and definitely an oasis from an hectic mess of a city. When we arrived in Palermo from the ferry, the uncleanliness of the city made us very leary of what kind of hotel we might be staying in but once we stepped inside the doors of the hotel, that noise and grunge was left behind. If you must stay in Palermo, I definitley recommend this hotel. The only reason I rated this hotel with a fair rating for location was that Palermo was not the most desireable place to stay in, but it does serve as a good hub for traveling elsewhere.

Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast spread was excellent.

Some reception staff extremely arrogant and unfriendly.

The staff is very friendly, funny and helpful. The location is a bit outside the city center, but this is not a problem.

Great Family Stay with Lovely Local Vibes!

Our family enjoyed a pleasant stay with spacious rooms and a beautiful view from the top floor. The staff were helpful, particularly during breakfast, and I loved discovering the local food options. Don't miss the rooftop-perfect!

For Palermo, a decent location, high above the street in a not especially scary neighbourhood. Staff was responsive when we asked to change rooms in order to get a double bed (as opposed to twins). Breakfast was not a disappointment. Room and bathroom ok, if a little dated. Decent though far from outstanding value for money.

The hotel is essentially an apartment block tossed up some decades ago, with all the charm that suggests. Ok for business or families, not recommended for romance.

I had a spacious room with a stunning view of the harbor, and the breakfast spread featured freshly made breads and delicious pastries. The cleanliness of the space was impressive!

Appreciated alot the car park. Very clean sheets and soft white towels. Nice bar at the lobby with a very well mannered bar man. Very good breakfast with alot of choices. Very good lifts smooth and quick. Pleasant lobby. Thank you

Air condition. A/c did not work at all. We stayed only 1 nt but if it had been more this would have bothered me especially at night and late afternoon. Thank you

Rich continental breakfast with a great food variety.

I've stayed at the Astoria on 2 other occasions. It offers value for money, is in a central location and a car park. Not an exceptional 4*, functionall with all the facilities of a 4 star but without charging usual 4 star prices. Breakfast was excellent (ask for real coffee and you get it),
